Tiliguerta Glamping & Camping Village promotes cycling tourism because it represents a low-impact form of transportation on the environment and offers the opportunity to relax while enjoying unfiltered landscapes. It is the best way to directly connect with the southern Sardinia region and rediscover the pleasure of slow traveling.
At our reception, you can rent road bikes, bikes for children, mountain bikes, or use your own bike for group rides or solo adventures.
The bike routes we offer are simple, located in the areas between Muravera and Castiadas. Each participant is free to choose their own pace based on their fitness level, breaking the journey into many stops or cycling in one stretch.

THE LAGOONS
The full route, recommended for experienced cyclists (44 km), includes visits to Colostrai and Feraxi lagoons and the new Capo Ferrato Oasis managed by the Regional Forestry Department. Fifteen hundred hectares of lagoons, 18 ecosystems, species of birds extremely rare throughout the Mediterranean, high fish productivity with two fish ponds, basaltic and granitic beaches: all of these constitute the Colostrai Oasis. Places to visit: the Colostrai and Feraxi fish ponds, beaches, and the Naturalia ecomuseum.
CAPO FERRATO It is a granitic and basaltic promontory resulting from the volcanic activity of the dormant Monte Ferru volcano. A true natural reserve for migratory routes of avifauna from nearby Africa, with isolated beaches and an unusual rocky coast in Sardinia due to the colors of basalt and lava rocks. The vegetation is evergreen throughout the year due to the undergrowth of rockrose, mastic, tree heath, and euphorbia. Places to visit: the panoramic point of the lighthouse, the Bay of Amphorae, Portu S’Ilixi beach.
PARCO DEI SETTE FRATELLI ITINERARY
Starting Point: Camisa
Route Length: 44.5 km
Access: Off-road vehicles, mountain bikes, (mixed: car and trekking)
Time Taken: Four hours for experienced cyclists, one and a half hours by off-road vehicle
Recommended for: Nature and photography enthusiasts. High chance of encountering Sardinian deer and golden eagles. Numerous endemic plant species thrive in the pristine forest of Quercus ilex, strawberry tree, heather, and the famous broom of Mount Etna.
The recommended route begins in Camisa, one of the villages in the municipality of Castiadas. Alternatively, you can start from the former Castiadas Prison, now transformed into a museum. Shortly after the prison, the road becomes unpaved but is accessible even by car until the junction for Mount Minni-minni (near the antennas). At this point (about 5 km from the prison), called Su Gutturu Frascu, do not proceed to Geremeas but turn right towards Monte Arbu (there are no signs). Key landmarks include the semi-abandoned but fenced and gated Muravera municipality house (4 km from Gutturu Frascu); the hunters’ lodge, which can be bypassed if desired; the Nuraghe of Monte Arbu at an elevation of 858 meters; the Sphinx, a monumental rock with a characteristic shape offering views of the massif of the Seven Brothers, located at a thousand meters above sea level. The route starting from the hunters’ lodge forms a loop and in some cases is marked by the Sentiero Italia, the only trail in Sardinia created in this immense forest in 1996 by the C.A.I. However, it leads to the peaks of the Seven Brothers starting from Montarbu.
Along the route, you overlook the coastlines of Costa Rei and Villasimius, revealing one of the most beautiful and intense panoramas in Sardinia. On clear days, it is possible to see the peaks of the Gennargentu Mountains. This area is the birthplace of hiking in the region, with the first excursion organized by the Sardinian Alpine Club dating back to 1893.
